Improved OpenDrive Importing For Geometries

• ParamPoly3 geometry now works better and has a smoother geometry

• Spiral Geometry also has a smoother geometry

• Both geometries now provide better editing experience as well

Added Super Elevation Tool

• You can now control the tilt (super elevation) of the road

• This is helpful in creating more realistic roads for hilly and curved areas

• Many highway exit/entries have slight tilt which can be usefull for bring simulation closer to real world environment

• ASAM OpenDRIVE maps will now be imported with correct super elevation as well exported with right values

Automated Junction Improvements

Previous junction algorithm was leaving to incorrect junction boundaries in multiple scenarios

• When roads were we intersecting at a very steep angle

• When intersecing roads were 1 sided

• When interesecting roads has big difference in their width as point of intersection

Earlier approach was to find the intersection of splines and use the width of road at the intersection and use it create junction width.

This approach is now replaced with final intersection regions instead of point on spline.

This approach ignored the the road width and ensures junctions are formed correclty in all scenarios.

Custom Junction Tool

We have added support to create custom junctions. Users can now create junctions where automated junctions were not suitable. This tool allows for greater flexibility in junction design, enabling you to adapt junctions to unique project requirements. Using this feature, junctions can be extended to large areas, and maneuvers on custom junctions are automatically updated when the connected roads are modified.

Custom Connections On Junctions

We have added support to let users create custom connections/links on a junction. This tool is ideal for testing new road configurations and maneuvers. In some situations, users wanted to create custom links to allow or test new maneuvers. We can now also delete unwanted maneuvers, giving you more control over your junction designs..

Ramp Tool

The ramp tool will make it easy to create entry/exit ramps on highways and other roads. This tool simplifies the process of adding ramps, which are essential for realistic and functional road networks. Many situations require creating ramps to exit/enter a road, and this tool ensures that these ramps are created accurately and efficiently.

Traffic Signal Tool
Now automatically signalize junctions for complex intersections. You simply have to select the desired junction you want to modify and use the actions from the inpsector panel.
